Why call the blog “Catching a Dragon”?
Because I think writing a book is like trying to catch a dragon. At first you see only glimpses of it out of the corner of your eye. You don’t see much, but you know it’s something majestic and powerful, something you want to see up-close.
But catching a dragon is not so easy. It takes time, it takes planning, it takes patience, discipline, and dedication. Dragons are clever; they will exploit your weaknesses the moment they can, and fly away to where no one can see them.
And yet, despite its frustrations and dangers, trying to catch a dragon is one of the most thrilling and rewarding experiences possible.
